A Stenciled Entryway Makeover Using The Alexa Allover Stencil

Today we’re going to share an entryway makeover using our Alexa Allover Stencil!
We’d like you to meet Rebecca, the self proclaimed fashionista and decor enthusiast from Beccabella Style Inspirations. When Rebecca moved into her new space, she painted it bright white so there was a cohesive feel to the open living environment. She commented, “I also knew that I was going to either wallpaper or stencil the long entry wall just to hide the thoughtlessly placed circuit breaker box, which was a major eyesore.” Here is a picture of her entryway before the makeover.
Rebecca’s white wall was a blank canvas waiting for her to embellish it with pattern and personality. For awhile she considered using wallpaper but it’s very expensive and can be challenging to put up. That’s when she decided wall stenciling was the way to go! She browsed our large collection of wall stencils in our online store. Rebecca fell in love with our Alexa Allover Stencil, a beautiful geometric pattern. She said, “I settled on a pattern that I felt would give the look of wallpaper with a feel of sophistication.”
For her stencil project, she used blue painters tape to adhere the stencil to the wall and our dense foam roller to paint the pattern. Then she stenciled the elegant design in neutral gray.
After the design was painted, Rebecca would carefully remove the stencil from the wall and reposition it to complete the project.
Once the stenciling was complete, Rebecca added her modern decor elements to complete the look. Ready to see how her stenciled entryway turned out? Here it is!
Rebecca had this to say about her stencil project, “The hubby and I couldn’t be any happier with the end result. The combination of shimmering high gloss paint along with the pattern gives the wall surface such a depth, creating the resemblance of a high quality wallpaper. ”
Doesn’t this geometric pattern look so pretty in this mirror? We’d probably stop and stare at it everyday.
